Chenghai, Guangdong: 60,000 Toy Businesses Power a RMB 50 Billion Cross-Border Trade, with Annual Exports of RMB 10.24 Billion

Chenghai, Guangdong, is home to more than 60,000 toy manufacturers and businesses. The area accounts for over half of China’s plastic toy production and about one-third of the global total, launches more than 1,000 new products on average each day, and has an annual output value exceeding RMB 50 billion. Local toy exports reached RMB 10.24 billion in 2024, up 12.3% year over year. Local businesses sell overseas through platforms such as Amazon, AliExpress, eBay, and Temu. The “Xiaoniaoyun” platform has generated more than 26,000 cross-border independent websites, covering 170 countries and regions.
