Italy: Uniport Calls for Adjustments to Maritime ETS Charges as Port Reform Bill Debate Nears

At its public assembly on October 6, Uniport called for adjustments to maritime emissions charges and faster infrastructure development to protect port competitiveness. Salvatore Deidda, chair of the parliamentary Transport Committee, said the port reform bill is expected to enter debate in the Chamber of Deputies in early November.
