Netherlands CBS: August retail turnover up 3.5% year on year, online retail up over 6%

Netherlands CBS reported that retail turnover in August 2026 rose 3.5% year on year, while sales volume increased 2.7%; on a shopping-day-adjusted basis, the unadjusted figure was up 2.5%. Turnover rose 5.0% in non-food retail, 0.9% in food retail, and 6.2% in online retail.
