Mac’s Edge Light feature is reportedly coming to iPhone

Apple’s Edge Light feature is rumored to be expanding from Mac to iPhone. Evidence of the feature appeared in the iOS 27 Release Candidate code, and the device subtype points to iPhone Duo, but the color temperature settings are not yet fully implemented. On Mac, the feature uses a glow along the screen’s edges as a virtual ring light, with adjustable white-line width and color temperature. Brightness and color temperature controls on iPhone appear similar, but it is unclear whether the feature will be available with the iPhone Duo launching on October 23.
