EU issues corrigendum to vehicle circularity Regulation (EU) 2026/1738: “autowrak” corrected to “afgedankt voertuig”

The Official Journal of the European Union published a corrigendum to the Regulation on requirements for vehicle circularity in design and end-of-life vehicle management (EU) 2026/1738, standardizing the Dutch term “autowrak” in the regulation as “afgedankt voertuig.” The change affects several provisions, including Article 3(2), Article 24(4), Article 50(3)(d) and Annex VIII; the rest of the regulation remains unchanged.
