GTA 6 Early Unlock Trick: Xbox Players Can Get Into the Game Before PS5 Players

Rockstar’s GTA 6 is set to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. Because the game unlocks at midnight in each region, Xbox players can change their console’s region to New Zealand to get into the game a few hours early. This works for both digital editions and physical editions that include a download code. PS5 players who want early access need a separate New Zealand account and must buy the game from that region’s store, making the process more cumbersome. Rockstar has confirmed that preloading begins on November 12.
