Midea completes acquisition of Esaote

Midea Group has completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in Italian medical imaging company Esaote. Esaote will join Midea’s healthcare division while continuing to operate as an independent global medical equipment company, with its headquarters remaining in Genoa, Italy. Esaote had revenue of €267 million in fiscal 2025, 70% of which came from international markets. Its products include ultrasound, open and specialized MRI, and healthcare IT solutions.
