Meta launches shopping AI agent Muse, initially available only in the U.S.

On September 8, Meta launched Muse, a consumer AI agent that runs on a standalone cloud virtual machine, has a built-in browser, and completes purchases using a one-time card generated for each transaction. The initial launch is limited to the U.S. and covers iOS, Android, and muse.ai, with WhatsApp serving as the conversational interface.
