Upstream is expanding its real-time digital twins from connected cars to robotics and other areas of physical AI.

Upstream announced that it was expanding its real-time digital twin infrastructure from connected cars to robots, humanoid robots, drones, autonomous mobile robots, and agricultural equipment, extending monitoring capabilities that it had validated across more than 40 million connected assets. Its platform combines telemetry, operational status, mission context, software activity, and anomaly data, while Ocean AI integrates machine learning-based anomaly detection, generative AI investigations, and agentic AI responses. The infrastructure does not rely on on-device software agents and can be deployed in customers’ cloud environments.
