Spain’s AEAT adds supporting document codes 1253 and 1240 for TXGI declarations covering Gibraltar trade

Spain’s AEAT adds declaration code 1253 to TXGI filings for Gibraltar-related trade. It applies when goods placed under special customs procedures before July 15, 2026, are transported from Gibraltar to DCP. The reference information must be entered as PRIOR TO AGREEMENT.
