Amazon France introduces new hazardous substance compliance questions for selected categories from October 26

Amazon France announced that, from October 26, 2026, sellers listing new products or modifying existing listings in selected categories must answer new hazardous substance compliance questions. The categories include refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers and similar products; shock absorbers and suspension lift brackets; markers and writing instruments; and pool and spa water treatment products (pool chemicals). Products already being sold in these categories require no action before October 26. These mandatory questions will appear the next time a product is created or modified, and accurate, complete answers will help products go live promptly.
