UK OPSS warning: needle-containing pimple-popping fidget toy sold on Amazon poses puncture risk; product removed from sale

The UK Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has issued a safety warning about a pimple-popping fidget toy sold on Amazon that contains a needle or syringe. Its sharp point could pierce the skin and cause injury, and the product does not comply with the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011. Amazon has removed the product from sale. OPSS advises consumers to stop using it immediately, avoid touching the needle with bare hands, place it in a puncture-resistant container and keep it out of children’s reach, then dispose of it safely as a sharp.
