Statistics Netherlands: June retail turnover up 2.9% year on year

Statistics Netherlands reported that retail turnover rose 2.9% year on year in June 2026, while sales volume increased 2.5%. Online retail turnover rose 7.5% year on year, with retailers whose main business is online growing by nearly 10%. Non-food turnover increased 3.1%; consumer electronics stores recorded the largest rise, at more than 6%, while footwear and household goods declined year on year.
