SKF partners with Sentea to advance Insight bearing technology and launch the SKF Core integrated hardware platform

SKF has selected fiber-optic sensing company Sentea as a partner to jointly develop and produce the SKF Core integrated hardware platform, which will support the next generation of SKF Insight bearings. SKF Core integrates sensing, processing, and communication capabilities into a single industrial unit, simplifying deployment and reducing system complexity. The new-generation bearings also add insights into lubrication condition, contact pressure, and bearing health. SKF Core and the next generation of SKF Insight bearings will be unveiled at the AMB trade fair in Stuttgart from September 15–19.
