Italy’s MIMIT: Electrolux restructuring talks enter a new phase; next meeting on October 29

New developments have emerged in the national talks on Electrolux, chaired by Italy’s Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT): no plant closures, a reindustrialization plan for the Cerreto d’Esi plant, withdrawal of unilateral layoffs, a three-year voluntary departure incentive plan, the use of social safety-net measures, and a proposed new investment plan to support industrial transformation.
