Amazon’s reach in the EU is stabilizing

Amazon’s DSA transparency report submitted to the European Commission shows that its average monthly active users in the EU totaled 193.9 million in the first half of this year, down slightly from 195.2 million in the second half of last year. These users are not necessarily buyers. Germany led with 52.8 million (-1.7% half-on-half), followed by France with 38.8 million, Italy with 38.1 million, Spain with 27.9 million, and the Netherlands with 6.6 million, the only one of the five countries to grow (+4.0%). Denmark saw the fastest growth (+18.4%), while Greece recorded the steepest decline (-20.2%).
