Indian Prime Minister Modi visits Chennai on October 11 to inaugurate a new section of Metro Phase II and launch several infrastructure projects

Indian Prime Minister Modi will visit Chennai on October 11 to inaugurate the Poonamallee–Vadapalani section of Chennai Metro Phase II, which cost about 490 billion rupees, and take a trial ride on the metro. He will also launch a global research mission at the Sudha Gopalakrishnan Brain Centre at IIT Madras to map more than 100 human brains in 3D, and lay the foundation stone for or inaugurate projects worth over 1.3 trillion rupees across roads, railways, ports and other sectors.
