CNCF and SlashData report strong momentum for cloud native in China as AI shifts toward inference

CNCF and SlashData released the “State of Cloud Native Development in China” report, estimating that China has about 1.75 million cloud native developers, including roughly 400,000 cloud native AI developers. Cloud native adoption among Chinese industrial IoT developers stands at 48%, above the global average of 42%; 58% of backend developers under 25 are cloud native. The report notes that as AI moves from experimentation to production inference, cloud native infrastructure is supporting scheduling, isolation, networking, observability, and other areas.
