SKF partners with Sentea to advance Insight bearing technology and launch the SKF Core integrated hardware platform

SKF has selected fiber-optic sensing specialist Sentea as a partner to jointly develop and produce SKF Core, a new integrated hardware platform supporting the next generation of SKF Insight bearings. The platform combines sensing, processing, and communication capabilities in a single industrial unit, simplifying deployment and reducing system complexity. The next-generation SKF Insight bearings add insights into lubrication condition, contact pressure, and bearing health. SKF Core and the next-generation solution will be unveiled at the AMB trade fair in Stuttgart, September 15–19.
