iPhone Duo has no Face ID; Touch ID and Apple Watch can both unlock it

Apple’s new foldable iPhone Duo has no Face ID. Instead, Touch ID is built into the side button, allowing authentication whether the device is open or closed. Users wearing an Apple Watch can also unlock the Duo without pressing anything, just as they can with a regular iPhone. Preorders for iPhone Duo open at 5 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, October 16, and it officially goes on sale Friday, October 23.
