Gemini 4 Argon arrives in the Gemini app: Available to Pro/Ultra subscribers, with support for background task mode
Google has launched its latest reasoning model, Gemini 4 Argon, in the Gemini app. It is available only to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and adds a toggle for switching from chat to task mode, allowing Gemini to continue working across Google apps and more than 40 third-party services after users leave their computers.
