Spain’s AEAT: New Dxx code validation required for declarations under the temporary admission procedure

Spain’s AEAT announced that, from September 30, 2026, H1 customs declarations requesting procedure code 53 (temporary admission) must include the corresponding Dxx code in box 11 10 (additional procedure), where the system will apply a new validation. This code is not required when code F15 (trade in goods with special tax territories) is entered. The Dxx codes to be declared cover categories such as pallets, containers, means of transport, personal effects, disaster relief goods, professional equipment, and exhibition samples.
