Amazon FBA Partial Refunds Can Now Be Configured by Return Reason
Amazon’s FBA partial refund program now lets sellers choose whether to offer a partial refund based on the customer’s return reason. It covers FBA sellers on the US, UK, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Canadian marketplaces. Sellers can set up to three refund rates by return reason and apply them to all ASINs, or upload an Excel file to specify products and return reasons. Products or reasons not included will continue to follow the standard returns process. Sellers already enrolled will keep their existing settings. Partial refunds are available only to customers who meet Amazon’s eligibility criteria. Amazon automatically reviews customer profiles and purchase histories to prevent abuse.
Amazon FBA partial refunds can now be configured by return reason, giving sellers a way to adjust their return cost structure and the markets where the program applies.
