The 2026 Beijing Public Grievance Response Forum opened in Beijing, where research findings, a city hotline service report, and global case studies in urban governance were released. Since 2019, Beijing’s 12345 hotline has evolved from a traditional call center into an intelligent governance hub powered by big data and AI. To date, it has handled about 200 million requests from individuals and businesses. The data is used to identify frequently reported issues and inform policy decisions. The two-day forum will bring participants together to exchange experiences in urban governance in Beijing and visit local communities.
