IndexBox Report: Articulated Truck Market Set to Rise Through 2035 on Stronger Freight Demand

IndexBox’s latest global articulated truck market report forecasts that the market index will reach 142 by 2035 (2025 = 100), equivalent to a compound annual growth rate of 3.6%, assuming no major global recession and a gradual easing of supply chain constraints. Growth is supported by long-haul freight, e-commerce expansion, infrastructure investment, and fleet replacement. Replacement demand is the main driver in North America and Europe, while Asia-Pacific is growing faster. The industry also faces pressures from decarbonization regulations, driver shortages, and the gradual adoption of electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
